They released the Job Simulator VR on Android and iOS in June 2018. In the beginning of 2016, Owlchemy Labs announced that they were working on a mobile version of Job Simulator. Job simulator was nominated for the VR game of the year at the British Academy video games awards 2016, and Best VR game of 2016 by GameInformer. On May 21st 2018 Owlchemy Labs published a job simulator VR for google cardboard as an early access for iPhone and android.
On June 15th 2018 developer Owlchemy Labs updated the PC version of the game with new features such as improved speech recognition, better menus with animated buttons and new filters and settings.
The game has sold over one million copies since its initial release. Job Simulator was released digitally on April 2nd 2016 on the PSVR PlayStation Store, and in retail stores on April 3rd 2016. Job Simulator includes 50 different objects to interact with, like Clipboards & Posters, and Typewriter. Players can choose from a range of jobs to take on, including: Delivery Driver, Laundromat Manager, and Retail Store Manager. There are no time limits or objectives rather the game simplifies life's complexities for players so they can apply their understanding of how each task feels for more real-world situations. Players can also commandeer other jobs like delivering packages on a fantastical version of public transportation or cooking cakes at home. The player can act as a human and hire robots, drink coffee with colleagues, or doze off at their desk. The player's goal is to solve problems using objects and features, primarily those found in an office environment. What is job simulator?
